This webinar will give you practical overview of the Go4Growth Carbon Net Zero programme for public sector and their providers

The UK has legislated to end its contribution to global warming by 2050, in effect reducing greenhouse gas emissions by at least 100%. That means Carbon Net Zero is one of the most important strategic drivers of our time, and this is being reflected in public procurements and grant funding processes in all sectors at all values. It will take everyone to get involved and contribute to achieving this critical goal.

This webinar will give you practical overview of the Go4Growth Carbon Net Zero (CNZ) programme for public sector organisations and their providers (suppliers and local businesses & voluntary sector organisations).

Did you know though, that 80-90-% of your emissions are in scope 3, purchased goods and services?

Delivered in partnership with NETpositive Futures, this webinar will provide a practical overview of Carbon Net Zero for your public sector organisation and how we can help you reduce carbon in your scope 3 emissions, helping your providers to transition to net zero.

Our programme will help you support your providers to achieve net zero through a relevant and proportionate Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) and we’ll help you measure and report on the impact of carbon reduction actions being taken as well as providing on going training and support for you and your providers.

Join us as we cover how the programme works, how you can get involved and the support for you and your providers, especially the support for local, SME and VCSE providers.

The Go4Growth project is being supported and fully funded out of UKSPF and the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority and Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. Having a shared purpose to create a stronger, greener, fairer South Yorkshire. Working together to unlock the potential of South Yorkshire people, businesses and places and ensure they prosper.
